La geomatica \u00e8 sempre stata una scienza di \"verit\u00e0 e accuratezza\" che contiene un insieme di tecniche geografiche. Ma si \u00e8 evoluta soprattutto dal punto di vista tecnico e strategico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prima del 1990, la priorit\u00e0 era migliorare la professione con la mappatura automatizzata, la raccolta dei dati e le mappe aggiornate del territorio. Poco dopo, l'informatizzazione della gestione del territorio e il miglioramento del funzionamento delle organizzazioni sono diventati fondamentali per stimolare l'evoluzione del mercato verso lo scambio, la distribuzione e la condivisione della conoscenza geografica grazie a nuovi strumenti software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
